Zechariah draws inspiration from architecture and urbanism around the world through his travels but also is dedicated to bringing out and building on the local culture of his hometown of Phoenix.

ZSF Studio’s design philosophy focuses on design that harmonizes well with its surrounding context but also represents the unique aspects of the owners or program. Good design comes through in new and subtle applications of common materials and form to create nuance rather than boldness for the sake of standing out. ZSF Studio seeks to be a partner with its clients and collaborators to create seamless and thoughtful work.
ZSF Studio provides full service residential and commercial architecture for new construction as well as renovations at variety of scales. ZSF Studio is licensed in the state of AZ but is open to projects in other states as well.
Architecture
Photography is a compliment to its architecture work through documentation of completed projects, construction process, and context photos to convey a sense of place during design. ZSF Studio is also a licensed commercial drone photographer focusing on supplementing architecture work with photo and video.
Portraits and event photography sessions are available based on the request. The majority of the photography work focuses on places and travel and towards creating long-form book essays and curated prints.

For clients who are uncertain about a project, Feasibility or Concept Design Studies can be done to help clients determine if they should move forward with the full building project. ZSF Studio can help clients visualize what their space and grounded metrics to help clients make a decision.
A master plan provides clients with a long term budgeted plan for future building projects. ZSF Studio provides planning services to help clients navigate internal and regulatory challenges and goals to come up with realistic but visionary solutions.
